Late Monday night a source close to the situation sent word to Rocks Off that Brandi Garcia, DJ at The Box for the past decade, had been terminated.

Victor Vital, Radio One's defense attorney for the Trae lawsuit, confirmed the firing Tuesday afternoon via email.

Allegedly, Garcia was terminated for playing a remix of Waka Flocka Flame's "O Let's Do It" which featured a verse from Trae. Vital would not get into specifics, responding only with "all employee discipline and terminations occur per established company policies and guidelines."

Garcia was also seen hat-tipping Trae at the recent Ludacris show and the recent Drake show.

We half jokingly wrote the following after the Luda show:

8:49: Uh-oh. While cutting through a mix of songs, Garcia let slip the first few seconds of Trae's "Grey Cassette." Wonder if she'll get fired to.

And this after the Drake show:

8:24: DJ Brandi Garcia is here DJing before the show kicks off. She announces, "I'm gonna bring out my good friend," then Trae comes rumbling out. This is the second time in the past few weeks we've seen Garcia co-sign for him; remarkable considering the Trae vs. The Box thing is still a hot talking point. Good for her. Or bad for her. Who knows anymore?

In case you're keeping count, that's now six Box employees that have allegedly fallen into the destruction path of the ban on Trae (the guys from The Kracker Nuttz, Michael Watts, DJ GT and now Garcia.)
