Brisco Pistol Whipped, Robbed (Video Included)

The Miami Herald reports that Dade County police are searching for a group of four men who allegedly pistol-whipped and robbed Brisco last week. Reports state the suspects orchestrated the robbery in a barber shop after Brisco left a photo shoot around 1 p.m. The men reportedly fired three shots, none of which struck anyone, before leaving with a diamond studded yellow gold watch, a matching bracelet, a Louis Vuitton wallet and more than $1,000 cash. The suspects also stole the rapper's Range Rover, before abandoning it at a nearby intersection.According to the Herald, the suspects fit the following description:"A man with full-sleeve tattoos on both forearms, wearing a red shirt and blue jean shorts, a baseball hat and Timberland boots; a man in a long, white T-shirt, gray sweat shorts and a baseball hat; a man with a beard, wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, a black hat, white sneakers, striped black-and-white boxers; and a heavy set man in a black shirt, black hat, black pants and black sneakers."Anyone with knowledge of the suspects whereabouts or another un-named customer who was also present during the robbery is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Jury Deadlocked In C-Murder Trial

Jurors in C-Murder's trial ended deliberations yesterday (August 10) after more than eight hours of deliberations.The jury, which had been in deliberations since around noon, will reconvene today, according to wwltv.com.Comprised of seven men and five women, the jury heard from 17 witnesses over the course of three days, all of whom described what happened on the night that C-Murder, real name Corey Miller, allegedly shot and killed 16-year-old Steve Thomas.During closing arguments, prosecutor Shannon Swaim pleaded with the jury to ignore Miller's celebrity status."This case is about a thug … a guy in a nightclub that shot a 16-year-old kid,” said Swaim. “The shooter is C-Murder. He snuck in with a gun and shot and killed him.”Defense attorney Ron Rakosky contradicted the statement, saying that the prosecution's witnesses provided inconsisten testimony. According to Rakosky, it was a “trial by wink, wink, nod, nod. You know he’s a thug. You know he’s guilty.”In order for Miller to be found guilty of second-degree murder, 10 of 12 jurors must agree on the verdict, which carries a mandatory life sentence. Other possibilities are lesser charges of manslaughter or negligent homicide, which carry sentences of up to 40 years in prison and up to five years in prison, respectively.In 2003, a Jefferson Parish jury found Miller guilty of second-degree murder; however, in 2004 a judge awarded the rapper a new trial because prosecutors failed to discloes the criminal histories of some witnesses.

On October 13, Rapster Records will release the final installment of their J Dilla compilation albums with Dillanthology Vol. 3. The first two, Dillanthology Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 were both released earlier this year.

Joe Budden and the Wu-tang beef is on again, after members of Raekwon's entourage allegedly assaulted Budden backstage. Joe began an online broadcast via BlogTV backstage at the Los Angeles stop of the Rock The Bells festival shortly after the altercation.

"For the people just joining me, I just wanna let everybody know that I'm alright," Budden said, while holding an ice pack to his face. "Raekwon didn't actually hit me. We was in the middle of talking about what we was actually talking about, and them niggas just came in like Storm Troopers."

Wu-Tang members, including Inspectah Deck , Raekwon and Method Man have voiced their displeasure with Budden, after he took what many deemed to be a swipe at Method Man following a Vibe magazine "Best Rapper Ever" list. Budden responded to Inspectah Deck , but later said he talked privately with Method Man himself to clear up any misunderstandings .
